We each have a role to play during this pandemic. Ask God to show you what He wants you to do. When God puts a person in your heart, just pick up the phone or send them a text or card. We are in this together. “Act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 With that said, it’s also our responsibility to nurture our own souls with God’s Word so deliberately and intentionally set aside some time each day to dig into the scriptures. Maybe it’s time to read the Bible straight through. I have been enjoying a program entitled “Bible Recap” by Tara Lee Cobble where the scripture reading for the day is posted and she then “recaps” it afterwards showing us her “God shot.” I find myself excited to read His Word each day!
