Dear FPCGH Family,

Greetings from 3061 Galveston Drive in Simi Valley!  Yes, I'm in my house just like you. My husband Steve is working from our garage, and I am providing home learning to our boys.  It has definitely been an adjustment.  Many days are fun!  But there are some days that feel long and lonely.  I am experiencing cabin fever like many of you.  But when I get anxious or frustrated, I am trying to remember how blessed I am.  Being at home with family has invited me to practice a more profound gratitude than I ever have before.

Philippians 4:6-7 reads,

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Oh, how we need that reminder! We are not alone. When we draw near to God in prayer, God's peace will guard, watch over, protect, and cover us in Christ Jesus. And let us recall God's faithfulness in the past, trusting he will continue to provide for us now.

I am praying for you and your families!

Much love to you.
