Sunday Mornings

Here at First Pres, we believe that corporate worship is an essential part of our faith journey with God and our experience of Christian community. So, each week we seek to provide Reformed worship services that are engaging, approachable, and authentic, offering you opportunities to express your love for God as you experience God’s love for you in Christ and through the Holy Spirit. Our congregation is diverse and welcoming, and our services have something for everyone, including some of the best children’s ministry in the Los Angeles area.

If you do not have a church home, we invite you to come and experience worship at First Pres. Generally, folks who visit First Pres on Sunday mornings really like it here and wish they had come to check us out sooner. We have two Sunday morning services. Our 9 am Blended Worship is more traditional, with music that includes organ, choir, hymns, and the praise band. Communion is offered monthly at the 9 am service. At 11 am, we offer the 11th Hour, a more contemporary worship service with music led exclusively by the praise band. Communion is offered every week at the 11th Hour. Both services offer the same sermon.
