Sunday Morning Prayer Group
Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., the church prayer team convenes in Pastor Bill’s office for a time of prayer devoted to our church community. This includes praying for our pastors, staff, elders, deacons, teachers, school, commissions, volunteers, church members, visitors and all other ministries that would benefit from the power and support of prayer. We welcome anyone who would care to join us and become part of our most rewarding effort with either silent or spoken prayers.Healing & Prayer Ministry Group
The Healing and Prayer Ministry at First Pres. is designed to support our congregation and community by meeting the call of Jesus Christ to pray for those in need and to faithfully ask God to be at work. This ministry is available, and intended for, those who are at cross-roads, in the midst of storms, test, or trials and who wish to engage their own healing and prayer journey with the support of our team. Our Prayer Team is made up of people who believe in the power of prayer. We are lay people of the First Presbyterian Church who are called to the ministry of prayer.
If you are in need of prayer, our prayer teams are available every Sunday morning after both the 9:00 and 11:00 am worship services in the front of the sanctuary. Please note that all prayer requests are kept confidential.
The Prayer Team meets once a month to pray for those requests received on Sunday mornings from the white prayer request cards in the pew rack, as well as to plan prayer gatherings for the church.
