Dear Friends,

Greetings from Nicaragua!!  One week ago I arrived back in this beautiful country after having traveled to India to attend my friend's wedding.  It was truly a special time with my friend, and it was wonderful to meet her family and friends.  It was also amazing to see how God took care of me throughout my trip and in bringing me back safely to Nicaragua -- thanks so much for your prayers, encouragement and support.

 This past Monday (January 15th) we started the first day of classes of The School of the Bible.  This intense course is 11 months long, and it will be a time for me to learn a lot more about God's heart and character through the study of His Word.  It will also be a key time of personal growth, in my friendship with Him, in understanding better His vision for my life, and in my relationships with other people. 

Thanks to God, and through the generosity of people, I now have a laptop computer which will be of great help and usefulness during the school!  Beyond that, I had asked for prayer for a second laptop for a Nicaraguan friend of mine -- but God provided 2 more laptops (!!) -- one for my friend, and another for the YWAM base.  And all of this happened during the 3 day window of time that I had in the U.S., in between India and coming back to Nicaragua.  Seeing how much my Father God cares and is attentive to details like this encourages me a whole lot!  And thank you so much to those who prayed and gave. 

Alright, it's time for me to go to bed so I can be ready for a new week of classes!!
