We've all faced the dilemma of how to respond to someone who, perhaps at some street corner, is asking for a handout or who "will work for food." The Social Concerns Ministry wants to assist you in responding in a helpful way by providing nourishing, compact meals of non-perishable foods called "Handy Handouts" that you can keep in your car or desk drawer. With these meals we enclose a flier listing many sources of housing and food assistance in the San Fernando Valley. These "Handy Handouts" are sold from time to time on the church patio in between services, and cost $4.00 for three complete meals.
