Children’s Ministries at First Pres. desires to provide children and their families with safe, fun, engaging, and creative lessons and activities that help children know who God is, and how to see, hear, and feel how much God loves them!

Nursery Services

The Ark

Our youngest children are cared for by several professional caregivers who are assisted by loving volunteers. The facilities are clean, safe, and comfortable. Separate rooms are provided for infants and toddlers and there is continuous care on Sundays for both the 9:00 and 11th Hour Worship.

Club 45

Club 45 is an outreach ministry for 4th and 5th graders designed to help these students transition into middle school. Monthly events are usually held off-campus and have included rock-climbing, water parks, and bowling. For more information, contact Elizabeth Wendel at

Kids of the Kingdom

Kids of the Kingdom is our children's choir for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. They meet Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. for rehearsal in music room, E-1. This program includes singing, rhythm instruments, and tone chimes. The group sings in worship once a month, and prepares a special musical once a year. Kids of the Kingdom ministry is under the direction of Diane Tarrantelli.
