Growth Group Ministry
Join us on September 13th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in Lee Hall for a FREE mini conference on “Being Built Up in Christ.” Our guest speaker is Dr. Paul Jensen, founder and Executive Director of The Leadership Institute, an interchurch organization offering training in spiritual formation and leadership development. He is also an Assistant Professor of Christian Formation and Discipleship at Fuller Theological Seminary. If you are interested in growing in your discipleship, this conference is for you.
Our theme for the 2008-2009 year will be “Strengthening Our Faith.” The first series, “Strengthening Our Faith: A Study on the Parables” begins September 22nd and is based on the Pastors’ sermons. Some of the small groups will start with the Fall Seminar Series on Faith in the Polling Booth, and then continue with the study on the parables.
As we strive to continue to be followers and disciples of Jesus, worshipping, learning, applying, sharing, and celebrating together in our larger community on Sunday mornings, let us continue to do so also in smaller communities of up to 10 people. Come, commit, and be challenged to grow in Christ with others.
